Mission

PRS was organized for the purpose of creating interest in the cultivating and exhibition of the rose. In pursuit of this purpose, PRS will maintain membership in the American Rose Society and Royal National Rose Society in Great Britain, and take an active part in the fuctions of the Northern California-Nevada-Hawaii Disctrict of the American Rose Society.

PRS is dedicated to volunteer actitivies in the local community, such as pruning roses at Menlo Park V.A. Hospital and Union Cemetary in Redwood City.

At PRS Annual Rose Show, which is held on the first Sunday in May, the organization welcomes all outside visitors to enjoy a wide variety of roses and rose arrangements as well as selling freshly cut roses at bargain prices for Mother's Day.
